"First visit by First birthday"
Establishing a dental home for your child is important in protecting your child's smile now and in the future. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends your child visit a pediatric dentist when their first tooth grows in, usually between 6 months to 12 months, or before their first birthday.

Children's Dental Planet
THE Doctors AND STAFF AT CHILDren's Dental Planet BELieve THAT A CHILd's visit to the dentist be:
Positive
Safe
Successful
Informative
Children's teeth are a big deal and require specialized care. Children are not adults and their dental needs will be different. Pediatric dentists have gone through additional 2-3 years of education and training after dental school and are therefore specialized in the oral care and behavior of infants, children, and teens.
A child's first visit to the dentist should be in an atmosphere that is calm and inviting. Establishing a positive first experience will help build a healthy relationship between your child and the dentist ensuring their dental needs are cared for today and in the future.
